Delighted to have been a guest at Luton Library yesterday during its 50th anniversary celebrations.

It was too hot for walking so being in a darkened room was cool. And the the overhead projector worked -just! That was  a relief.

Having visited the Olympic Park on Friday it was a good moment to review the entire Lea Valley Walk in the Olympic welcome city.

The Queen Elizabeth Park, as the Olympic Park is to be called, will be part of the climax for future walkers going south from Luton.
